Melinda Cohan achieved fast success when she launched her first coaching business, quickly replacing the income from her previous job as a workplace-efficiency interior designer.
In 2004, she started coaching other coaches to grow their businesses, based on a vision she’d scribbled on the back of a napkin to “eliminate the burdens and distractions of coaches” using her expertise in designing systems and processes. She became the cofounder and CEO of The Coaches Console, now a 7-figure software, training, and coaching company that has helped more than one hundred thousand coaches create profitable and thriving businesses.
Cohan’s work has given her an insider’s view of the coaching industry: every kind of coach, every kind of business model, every kind of challenge and solution, and every shift in the coaching industry. She’s the author of The Confident Coach and the host of Just Between Coaches, a podcast focused on the challenges coaches face and how to overcome them. She recently celebrated the podcast’s 130th episode.
When she isn’t coaching, Cohan and her husband, Dave, enjoy the outdoors (especially skiing). They love organizing and leading travel adventure trips around the world for their local ski and adventure club. They also enjoy going to concerts, music festivals, and football games, and creating adventures with their family.
